1.First open an RGB mode image with black background Write some text but not in the solid form! but as a selection
2.Go to the channels window and drag any of the channels to the "create new button" and create a new channel #4 and then double click on it to get the options for that channel.
Use the following specs for the channel.
Colour indicates: Masked Areas
Opacity:100 %
HSB mode
Hue:235
Saturation:100 %
Brightness:100 %



3. Fill in the channel which is still selected by white with Opacity 100% and mode NORMAL.
Select the RGB channel now and click on the Layers tab and create a new layer and name it "Xlight". Change the foreground colour to the following specs.
Hue:114
Saturation:100%
Brightness:100%
It is a light green color. You can also use any other colour Now. Fill the "Xlight" layer with this colour.
Go to SELECT/FEATHER and choose it at a radius of 2 pixels.


4. Inverse the selection (ctrl+shift+i) or by SELECT/INVERSE
Go to FILTER/BLUR and choose the RADIAL BLUR filter. Apply it with the following specs. Amount:100
Blur method:zoom
blur quality: (choose any depending on the speed of your machine)
IMPORTANT Apply this RADIAL BLUR twice witht the same specs.
Now inverse the selection again (ctrl+shift+i) and again use THE RADIAL BLUR with the same specs as above.
Finally go to SELECT/NONE.
Final Output:X-files effect
