Start a new RGB image. Draw a circle 100*100 pixels and save the selection [ Select | Save Selection ]. Fill it with black. |

Now over to the tricky part. Draw a new but this time an oval circle 75*60 pixels, make sure that the oval circle is placed on the bigger black circle. Now rotate the selection 45% degrees. |

Feather it with Radius: 10 [ Select | Feather ] and fill with a color of your choice. To remove the extra color which came outside our button first load your selection [ Select | Load Selection ] and select inverse [ Select | Inverse ] then press Delete. |

To make the button look a little bit more 3D add some highlight with the Airbrush Tool. |
